Can't change backup location

I have deja-dup configured to store the backups on an external drive and can't change that to any other directory. I click on the 'Edit' button right beside the backup location and click on the dir I want, but deja-dup goes immediately back to the '80 GB filesystem' entry (which is where it was configured to store the backups, as you can see in the config dump attached).

I ran it with DEJA_DUP_DEBUG=1 but that didn't give me any debug messages.

I'm running Lucid:

duplicity 0.6.08b-0ubuntu2

Even if I change apps/deja-dup/file in gconf-editor, at the moment I start a backup I see it reverting back to the old location.

This is also true in deja-dup 14.0.1 in Lucid. It won't accept sub-directories nor other root directories of other drives. I'm curious why it's stuck on that particular location, presumably because it's my external drive.

Not sure if it helps but for a split second after you've chosen a new location, it appears as the selected option in the drop down list. Immediately afterwards, it looks like it's refreshed back to the old choice which is the one it's stuck on.

It won't allow the use of an SSH server location either I'm afraid.

This sounds pretty bad. Unfortunately, I'm going on vacation for over a week in a couple days. I may not get to this in time. :-/ But I can certainly look at it when I get back...
