pb with déjà dup not extract the backup

Binary package hint: deja-dup

Sorry our english was approximative...
a backup was made with deja dup with the old system (originaly ubuntu 8.04 upgrade to 8.10 and to 9.04) with root (but the same in version) ubuntu 9.04 and we cannot extract the backup because old system can permit 10 caracter and the new system permit 9 caracter....
how can we resolve this problem

tender, can you explain what you mean by 'old system can permit 10 character and the new system permit 9 character'?

What's the error message? If possible, can you post a log file from encountering the error? Attach /tmp/deja-dup.log to this bug after running the following line and replicating the problem:
    DEJA_DUP_DEBUG=1 deja-dup | tail -n 200 > /tmp/deja-dup.log

Closing due to lack of information about the problem. tender, I'd recommend you try a more recent release and see if you still have the issue.
