Bug Description

It would be nice if we had better icons than we do now. There are three shipped icons:

1) The Déjà Dup logo. You can see the current one here: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/18613203/dd192.png

This the GNOME 'refresh' image superimposed on the GNOME hard drive image. Not particularly brilliant. If a better metaphor exists for 'backup program' then that would be good. Otherwise, a cleaned up image would be acceptable (like, I think there is some excess shadow or artifacts from my naive superimposing).

2) A backup icon. You can see the current one here: http://mterry.name/deja-dup/deja-dup-1.png

It's currently an inverted copy of the 'document-save' icon from GNOME. Again, it uses the hard drive image and an arrow. This is workable, but I welcome improvements.

3) A restore icon. You can see the current one here: http://mterry.name/deja-dup/deja-dup-1.png

It's currently a copy of the 'document-save' icon from GNOME. Again, it uses the hard drive image and an arrow. This is workable, but I welcome improvements. It's also currently strongly related to the backup image, which makes sense to me.

Ideally any submitted icons would have an SVG image and optionally optimized smaller images. This bug is not something I feel qualified to fix myself. I'd love any help from artists out there.

Eh, I revamped the icons, using the same metaphors, from the Tango icon set for the 9.something release. They look snappier now, and that's good enough. I had several good feedbacks from my request for art (http://live.gnome.org/GnomeArt/ArtRequests/BackupIcons), but nobody had any amazing new ideas for metaphors. So I'm sticking with what we have for now.
