Yes, I agree its a problem that needs attention.
They want to keep it incredibly simple but files are entangled with folders so its not great the way it is. That have it so simple that literally you cannot block GB's from being backed up or for security reasons.
Really, just need to use something else since they don't want to. That's the way it goes.
