[Cancel] button has no effect in directory selector dialog

In Preferences I click on the [ Add ] button either to add a directory to backup or to add a directory to the Exclude list. A directory selection dialog pops up. If I want to close the directory selection dialog clicking the [ Cancel ] button does not work. Though I can click the button multiple times it never closes the dialog. It is not until I click the [ X ] in the upper right of the window that I can close that dialog. Clicking [ Cancel ] should cancel the current operation and close the dialog to bring me back to the Preferences window.
