Backup via SSH create only empty GPG archive

If i try to create a backup to a local server (192.168.2.xxx) the created files with the right path , but totally empty.

I use DéJà Dup 7.4 from Ubuntu 8.10

Did Deja Dup give an error? If not, it's a valid bug.

To be more specific: if i try to backup a normal directory in my home, all is fine.
But if i add, in example, the default directory "Examples" in my home (i'm in Ubuntu , there is some example files to start), the archives created are empty and i have no error at the end.

Can someone try this test to confirm if this happen only to me.

I *finally* got around to testing this, but couldn't reproduce it. Can you paste the file /tmp/deja-dup.log after the following command and reproducing this?

DEJA_DUP_DEBUG=1 deja-dup | tail -n 200 > /tmp/deja-dup.log

You mention SSH. Does this only happen over SSH?

Now i'm on Jaunty 9.04 and DejaDup works perfectly also on SSH :-)
