Right now, I don't think removable drives work amazingly:
1) The drop down box for 'Local Folders' doesn't let you select an unmounted drive.
2) The label 'Local Folders' might be misleading for someone expecting a label like 'External Drives' -- most people don't think of removable drives as either local or folders.
3) Deja Dup should notice when it isn't mounted and warn the user (and, if it is running as a scheduled backup, delay and wait for user to plug it in).
4) Make sure we work with NTFS
5) Maybe do a Time Machine-like warning the first time you plug in a drive. |
