Bug Description

I have a backup each days with déjà-dup.
Sometimes, before the backup starts, I have a message that the name of the computer has changed, asking if I really want to backup.
But the name it suggests is not the hostname of the computer.
I use networkmanager, and it seems that this can be related to whether I'm connected with wired or wireless network.
Platform: Mageia 7
Déjà-dup: deja-dup-40.6
Duplicity: duplicity-0.8.12.1612

This got fixed in duplicity upstream recently. It’s not released officially, but the snap and flatpak Deja Dup releases have the fix bundled in.

Changed in deja-dup:
status: New → Fix Released
