Bug Description
I have enabled weekly backup. Recently, I found the localized UI of Deja Dup is partly in square glyphs, which is also called as mojibake, that makes Deja Dup backup not work. It keeps waiting for connecting my drive but nothing progressed.
If I cancel the backup process and quit Deja Dup, the command line 'deja-dup --backup' works without any problem; it shows the right UI string without the square glyphs.
Distro: Fedora 26
Deja Dup version: deja-dup-
Locale: zh_TW.UTF-8
The screenshot is the mojibake (displaying the localized strings as square glyphs) of Deja Dup.
