Bug Description

I want take backup using ssh. I have set folder location and password. While typing password, I activated remember password. Now I am not able to connect to my server. Problem could be either my password is wrong or indeed deja dup is not able to connect to server. To resolve 1st possibility I need to reset password which I could not find way. Please suggest me to resolve the problem.

Open the "Passwords and Keys" app (seahorse), look for your SSH network password, and delete it to get rid of the remembered password.

Can you connect to your server through Files (nautilus)?

Thank you. I have done as you suggested and still not able to connect. Now
there is no password problem. Is it due to firewall security issue?.
Because if I am able to connect via terminal, then it would be because of
Deja dup is not able to connect to server. Noticeably, I can connect other
server from deja dup.

Deja Dup uses your system's GNOME libraries to do the actual connection. So if Files can connect, we should be able to.

What's the actual error message you see?

No I can't connect to server using nautilus as well. Error message from
deja-dup and nautilus is "connection failed" . No other information.
Apologise for late reply.

Well. That's not a very helpful message indeed. But this is not a deja-dup bug. This is either a gnome/gvfs bug with connecting to an ssh server or your server is not accepting your password.

Yes. It might be the reason as I could only connect by terminal not via
nautilus.
Thank you for your time and suggestions.
