Bug Description
I have Ubuntu Xenial Xerus 16.04 LTS in a computer (i5 Skylake, HDD WD 1TB ...). The problem arose using the Nautilus interface to interact with Deja Dup. This is a clean Ubuntu 16.04 install. Deja-Dup doesn't have the entry About inside Help menu so I don't know which version it is, but all my packages are up to date.
I can't restore missing files in folder that's backed up if I go in it using a link in Nautilus.
Steps to reproduce:
1 - Create a folder
2 - Add a file inside that folder
3 - Somewher else, create a symbolic link to that folder.
4 - With Deja-Dup (Backups) open, click in Folders to save, select the folder you created (not the symbolic link)
5 - In Overview, click Back Up Now...
6 - Open Nautilus, go in the folder, through symbolic link and delete that file you created previously
7 - Right click in Nautilus background and select Restore Missing Files...
8 - Deja Dup, after finishing scanning, won't find anything.
9 - Now, still in Nautilus, navigate directly to the folder, right click in Nautilus background and select Restore Missing Files...
10 - Deja Dup will find your file and you can restore it.
