Bug Description

Hi All, this is very strange and don't know where to start to understand what happened.

I've changed the modem router at home for a Draytek Vigor 2860. I've made enough changes to the configuration just to make it work and connect to my ISP. Now, when I launch Deja Dup 34.2 on my Fedora 23 to do an incremental backup to my Synology NAS using Samba, I get this error message:

    Computer name changed

The existing backup is of a computer named unallocated.barefruit.co.uk but the current computer name's name is [the correct one]. If this is unexpected, you should back up to a different location.

In Nautilus I can see the correct share being opened to access the older backup files. In the GUI I can see Deja Dup scanning correctly my files, that were backed up in the past. I have nothing to do with barefruit.co.uk, that actually exists! I have no idea where Deja Dup got it. I have no reason to think I've been hacked or similar. The router is brand new and has no pre-existing configuration, but I must think it is involved in the issue as it's the only thing I've changed between yesterday and today. Is this a bug or another kind of issue?

In the meantime I have started successfully a new backup set on a different share of the same NAS. I'm not getting the error there.

Hi All, this happened again today. This time I changed nothing in my laptop or network. I get the exactly same problem, including saying that my computer is now named unallocated.barefruit.co.uk . Please give me a hint, something I can investigate for you.

It looks like the problem may be the same as it is described at http://askubuntu.com/questions/264529/deja-dup-resolves-host-name-incorrectly-adds-isp-hostname. Apparently I've solved it by forcing the name of the laptop as an alias of localhost. In any case, is Deja's behaviour normal?
