Bug Description

Hi,

When running "deja-dup --restore-missing", if I'm clicking on the Cancel button, duplicity and deja-dup process are stopped as expected.

If I'm closing the window, the processes are still running and there is now way to reopen that windows.

The two behavior should be identical and the process should be killed

Hello!
I disagree with you a bit. I think it is handy that the process can be send to the background by closing the window. There is a lot of software following the same policy.

Maybe we should introduce a dialog box asking if the backup should be stopped or continued in the background?

Best

Vej

There is no way to reopen that window. A warning that the operation will still run in the background might indeed be interesting. But if I'm reopening deja-dup, it should also restore the window showing the current process running.

Hello again!

I did some testing on this and can confirm, that the dialog disapeares and does not come back again. Although the restore did not happens for me and I do not see any duplicity processes running. Does it completes for you?

Most dialogs (like the backup dialogs or even the dialog from --restore-missing asking which backup (date) should be used for the restore) which we show just minimize when using close. So a consistent UI should minimize here as well.

Best Regards

Vej
