Bug Description
There appear grey-bars in the editor when using Ubuntu Natty Narwhall and higher this has also been reported in other wxPython and Scintilla based editors

This is an issue that only occurs on Ubuntu Natty Narwhal and can be solved by disabling the overlay scrollbars.
If you do want to use these scrollbars you need to start deditor with this command:
LIBOVERLAY_
