Bug Description

on Asus 1005ha the touchpad can not emulate a left click when the touch pad is double tapped.

this is for Linux Mint DE XFCE RC... the mouse settings under preference does not have the TOUCHPAD TAB.

was fixed by editing
/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf
to this output:

Section "InputClass"
        Identifier "touchpad catchall"
        Driver "synaptics"
        MatchIsTouchpad "on"
 Option "TapButton1" "1"
 Option "VertEdgeScroll" "1"
EndSection

Would appreciate it if this can be included in the stable release of LMDE xfce release. Thank you!!

Thank you very much. Those parameters worked perfectly for the touchpad on my old HP-Compaq nx7010.
