1) If you (correctly) fix the comment field like this:

-Comment=program to create mind maps
+Comment=Create mind maps

You should also fix the translations:

Comment[fr]=Programme pour créer des cartes mentales

I'm quite sure you will find help for these in #ubuntu-motu.

Thanks for you work Mario, please keep coordinating it with debian as you are doing. I believe he will appreciate it if you can attach to the debian bug report the .desktop file you are working on at the moment, once its finished.

I attach a new debdiff which should provide a good .desktop file but I don't subscribe u-u-s because this fix is probably going to be included quickly in Debian.

Please check the status of the upstream bug for the .desktop file: upstream has been working to add more translations (which is where it should be done), and I would prefer that we push the upstream .desktop file (possibly with improvements) to Debian than ours.

I don't know if it is still possible or not to change the french comment, but since yesterday, and our talk on #ubuntu-motu I believe that a better one would be :

Would it be possible to merge the changes in Vym versions 1.10.1 and 1.11.0 ?

I cannot see these versions on the project website ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/vym ), however, the opensuse commit archives do refer to versions 1.10.1 and 1.11.0.

The latest version in Debian is 1.10.0-1 which has been already merged, so there is nothing to merge at the moment.
