Bug Description
In Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus (x64) Veusz application (version 1.21.1-1 from repos) crashes with Segmentation fault at start:
VO table import: astropy module not available
SAMP: sampy module not available
QInotifyFileSys
QFileSystemWatcher: failed to add paths: /home/f0ma/
Bus::open: Can not get ibus-daemon's address.
IBusInputContex
Segmentation fault
Gdb shows zero pointer accsess in sip_api_
Actual version veusz-1.25 may be built from source and install successfully.

I also get a segmentation fault when attempting to start veusz 1.21.1-1 on Ubuntu Artful. I've also attached a bug watch to a Debian bug which I believe is the same issue.
