Bug Description

From a terminal...

    $ man valadoc

...says

    --enable-checking
           Enable additional run-time checks

But trying this option, `valadoc` complains this option is not recognized.

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

This section is still present in the manpage in valadoc 0.23.2~git20140902-3 on Ubuntu Vivid, and I can confirm valadoc prints a warning when attempting to use it. Furthermore, it looks like --enable-deprecated is an unknown option too.

I saw the corresponding Debian issue had been fixed, and the same version had been synced to the current development version. I've tested with valadoc 0.23.2~git20150422-3 on Ubuntu Xenial and neither "--enable-checking" nor "--enable-deprecated" is present in the manpage. Thus, I believe this issue can be marked as Fix Released.
