This problem affects me only when I try to run a beta of libreoffice located at:

/opt/lodev4.1/programs/soffice (or swriter or scalc)

$ cd /opt/lodev4.1/program
$ ./scalc
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
Fontconfig warning: "/opt/lodev4.1/share/fonts/truetype/fc_local.conf", line 13: Having multiple <family> in <alias> isn't supported and may not work as expected
