New scorched3d version (0.41.1) was released on October 2007. In this version several very useful features were added, please update Ubuntu packages.

It gives me great pleasure in announcing the release of Scorched3D version 41. Version 41 is a major new release and aims to polish the game in many areas.

Version 41 adds features such as:-
- New simpler game launcher
- Re-designed dialogs for starting games
- Dragging the landscape will drag the main view
- New chat channel interface
- New improved tank AIs
- Enhanced water effects
- Real-time shadows
- In game Music
- Faster more responsive online communications and less data sent from clients
- Everything in the Scorched world is now interactive and can be destroyed
- Client and server processes have been split to allow headless servers to be built
- More moding options
- And many more additions and fixes.

- Performance for some graphics cards (should match 40.1 perf with shaders off)

About dh_iconcache, I didn't know about that, just see the ubuntu changelog and asked for it. They should know it's obsolete :)

No, it wasn't, its because I add the the Debian task, so please don't forget it next time.

Instead of replaying with this nonsense you could have sent an email to Debian rectifying it, while you obliged somebody else to rectify it for you.

It's released at Debian unstable, but dh_iconcache (now dh_icons) was removed.. but I reported a bug asking why.

Let's hope it gets fixed so we can sync it again.
