Please run update-rcconf-guide automatically after installing (in postinst)
Also it would be nice, if update-rcconf-guide would be started if user reconfigures (with dpkg-reconfigure) rcconf package.

Pinged the upstream bug, it's here since Sun, 26 Dec 2004 and doesn't have any comments.

I'm not sure about the linked Debian bug though. That one has a slightly different description. Instead of talking about running it after rcconf is installed, it talks about running it after *any* other packages are installed, which is quite a bit different.
