can't remove psad package

Bug Description

Binary package hint: psad

I'm trying to remove psad package, but pre-removal script fails. Here is the apt-get output:

$ sudo apt-get purge psad

It was successfully deleted after I've created /var/run/psad directory

This bug was fixed in the package psad - 2.1.3-1.1ubuntu1

psad (2.1.3-1.1ubuntu1) intrepid; urgency=low

  * Fix failure to remove package if /var/run/psad doesn't exist (LP: #250088)
    This can happen if /var/run is mounted as tmpfs
  * Modify Maintainer value to match the DebianMaintainerField
    specification.
