Software centre description inaccurate

*I was not sure where to address this issue, sorry if I this is the wrong place.*

The software centre teaser for Pinta is "Create and edit images and photographs". This is misleading because it is not possible to create photographs using Pinta. The sentence should therefore be changed.

While this is obviously only a very minor issue, the focus in the Natty cycle is quality and I think this is so easily fixable that we should do it.

What do you think the correct text should be? "Create and edit images". Pinta is for creating and editing images, but only editing photographs.

Well, I am having trouble coming up with a neat, concise description. I'll leave that to the native speakers ;).

Maybe "An easy way to create and edit images".

"Images" covers both "photos" and "drawings"...

Thanks for your report. This is not an Ubuntu specific issue though, so please file this as a Debian bug and suggest alternative wording there. Then Ubuntu will get the change at the next sync.
