Bug Description
The obs-studio that we provide in Ubuntu is pretty much useless, because it's missing some key features, like browser objects and a better integration with some streaming platforms, such as Twitch.
I always need to use obs-studio from ppa:obsproject/
I'm wondering why it's problematic to provide the same features that the version in ppa:obsprojects

Fwiw, there is some discussion in https:/ /bugs.debian. org/cgi- bin/bugreport. cgi?bug= 956086 which seems to be a Debian bug report talking about the same issue. Based on the discussion (and other mentioned reports) it looks like the main question is how to handle the chromium- embedded- framework in order to get the browser plugin working.
