I upload only debian->ubuntu debdiff, because I dropped previous changes and integrate it in a patch.

Well angel,

I think the 3.0 format change is better done in debian rather than ubuntu

so can you revert that change and use a generic quilt patch system maybe?

what do you think?

Hi Bhavani, I think the best option is to make the minor changes as
possible. Changing source format, we only add one file. If we want to
use generic quilt patch system we need to add quilt to build-depends
in control, and patch and unpatch in rules. Also I think that is
easier that Debian maintainer adopts 3.0 (quilt) than generic quilt
patch system.

But If you think that quilt system is the best option I can change the debdiffs.

At your opinion...

Thanks!

yes angel, I agree but the debian maintainer has to decide if we upload for instance in 3.0 format lets say but the debian maintainer decides to stick on with 1.0 format lets assume, then it will be a unnecessary delta which might not please the debian maintainer of the package and as the package uses cdbs its enough to have even a simple-patchsys rule if the quilt build dependency needs to be avoided, and since its cdbs patch unpatch mechanism is taken care of automatically without explicitly adding it I think to rules file

What do you think?

Your arguments sound reasonable. This afternoon I will re-upload debdiffs with simple-patchsys.

Thanks Bhavani for your advices!
