It seems you uploaded the wrong debdiffs. You uploaded diffs for sooperlooper, and not ming. Please attach the correct debdiffs, and re-subscribe ubuntu-universe-sponsors when done.

Sorry about that Luke. Here is a new Debian->Ubuntu debdiff. This time, it is for ming.

There is one thing I am not sure about. When I build the source package, it sets the prefix in util/ming-config to "/usr/local". In Debian, the prefix is "/usr". I am not sure if this is an issue or not. If it is, please let me know, and I can manually remove it from the debdiff.

I think prefix=/usr/local is not correct, could you please adjust it?

the change doesn't seem to be ubuntu specific, could you send it to the debian bts (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ContributingToDebian)?

The patch has been sent upstream to Debian. I think it would be better to wait for them to apply the patch, and then perform a sync. If you would rather perform a merge, please let me know, and I will gladly prepare a new debdiff.

Thanks for working on this, unfortunately I just merged it since this was also rebuilding with the newest Perl.
The prefix=/usr/local is just an artifact of the package, since during the debuilding of the source package make clean is called, which requires a configure pass (with prefix set to the default /usr/local).
