The description of the notify-send man page starts with "With notify-send you can sends desktop notifications to the user", and there should be "send" instead of "sends"

Joel it doesn't look like your change has been merged into the main branch of this package. Can you propose the merge and get it review? Or has this already been added to the package and I am just missing it.

Thanks for your work on this.

As it's a typo, I think it's more appropriate to fix it in upstream first, so I went ahead and forwarded it to Debian. As soon as I get the confirmation from Debian's bug tracker, I'll update this bug report, so we can get the change from Debian once it landed there.

Thanks for reporting and providing patches. I've just verified with libnotify 0.7.7-3 on Ubuntu 18.04 that the typo has now been fixed.
