Bug Description

The version of libjs-jquery-hotkeys that we have in Ubuntu Trusty has been synced from Debian. The Debian package contains serveral changes (that aren't present in upstream) that break the python-coverage HTML reports.

I filed a bug in Debian (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=740893) in the hopes that we could fix the problem in Debian, and sync the fix into Ubuntu. However, after several weeks we're no closer to a fix.

I'd like to propose that we revert the package in Ubuntu until a fix is present in Debian.

More details about the exact failure, and how to reproduce it are present in the Debian bug (https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=740893)

Reverse diff to the last version that worked is http://paste.ubuntu.com/7218745/

However this also removes the debian packaging, so I'm not sure what the best way forwards is from here. I'm happy to test new packages against python-coverage, nose and pyruntest.

This bug was fixed in the package libjs-jquery-hotkeys - 0~20130707+git2d51e3a9+dfsg-2ubuntu1

---------------
libjs-jquery-hotkeys (0~20130707+git2d51e3a9+dfsg-2ubuntu1) trusty; urgency=medium

  * debian/patches/revert-to-0.8.patch:
    - Revert to jquery-hotkeys 0.8 rather than the current git snapshot
      because the snapshot breaks python-coverage HTML reports.
