What is the status on this bug? I was suffering from this problem on Intrepid for quite long time, but now using the kernel "2.6.27-11-generic" and the iwl3495 from compat wireless (http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Download) dated of 2009-03-31 I do not have any problem.

I am now connected in my university WLAN which uses WPA2 (TTLS + PAP) using the NetworkManager.
