Applications menu item should be of the form 'Name function', so 'Gnomebaker CD/DVD writer', not the other way round.

In changelog please correct the "debian/control: set Maintainer to Ubuntu Core Developers" entry (its MOTU not Core).
Once reported to Debian please link the bug number here.
I'm unsubscribing u-u-s, please monitor progress in Debian and if not satisfactory reassign to u-u-s.

For the future you may want to use the update-maintainer script, from the ubuntu-dev-tools package, to update the maintainer field (it will automatically add the right entry in changelog).

Anyway, just a few hours ago the debian maintainer has sent the fix upstream and will include it in the next revision.
