Binary package hint: gnome-applets

Wanda the fish is one of the default applets for gnome-panel. When double-clicked it runs the command 'fortune' by default.

Jaunty and Karmic do not have fortune-mod installed by default.

It should be added to the depends for gnome-applets, or have a automatic method for installation when a user clicks wanda.

Setting the bug to wishlist, there is so many real bugs I don't see anybody wanting to work on such a tiny detail it could be easier to just drop the fish thing

When I click on the Wanda the fish applet, it says "Unable to locate the command to execute."

I've created a debdiff to add fortune-mod to the Depends field. I've attached it and linked my branch.

Oh, by the way, the patch and branch were for lucid (not sure if fortune-mod is auto-installed there or not...)

Does this issue still exist in precise with gnome-panel 3.4? If yes, this needs to be fixed in precise first before being fixed in lucid.

Also, this would be a recommends, not a depends similar to what was suggested in the Debian bug. unsubscribing ubuntu-sponsors for the moment, please resubscribe once it's clear if this affects precise or not and with a patch if need be
