Bug Description

Trying to start Trace Compass 7.0.0+repack-1 in Ubuntu 22.04.01 fails.
The attached log file suggests that it is missing javax.annotation 1.3.5.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the report. There is a similar bug in Debian also #1010983 and I had been debugging that and trying to find out possible solutions. It has been mainly caused by updates to other java packages.

More information about this at https://lists.debian.org/debian-java/2022/09/msg00001.html which has also resulted in https://bugs.debian.org/1019488 and https://bugs.debian.org/1019488 as the wrong metadata in the manifest file has caused this problem.
