Bug Description
[SRU]
When attempting to run doomsday 1.15.8-3 on Ubuntu 17.04 it immediately segfaults.
This (and a separate segfault which happens when attempting to start a new game, see https:/
[Impact]
doomsday 1.15.8-3 on Ubuntu 17.04 currently fails to start.
[Testcase]
This is twofold due to the two segfaults.
(As a prerequisite, install a package with game data, for instance `doom-wad-
1. Run `doomsday` to start the "game launcher"
Test A: the program should not segfault.
2. From the list of available games, pick one, for instance DOOM shareware.
3. Start a new game of Doom (Press escape, then select New game -> Single player -> Knee-deep in the dead -> Hurt me plenty.
Test B: the game should not segfault.
4. Run around in the game for a while.
5. Have fun :)
[Regression Potential]
The program is currently crashing instead of starting, so I'm not sure how much it can regress.
