The full build log is available from:
   http://people.debian.org/~lucas/logs/2012/10/10/bsaf_1.9-3_wheezy.log

A list of current common problems and possible solutions is available at
http://wiki.debian.org/qa.debian.org/FTBFS . You're welcome to contribute!

About the archive rebuild: The rebuild was done on EC2 VM instances from
Amazon Web Services, using a clean, minimal and up-to-date chroot. Every
failed build was retried once to eliminate random failures.

I see this issue was marked fixed in Debian with version 1.9-4 which has been synced to Utopic. However, in Utopic it was built on i386 while the report mentions amd64. Does that mean further checking is required, or can this simply be marked Fix Released?

Since there wasn't a response, and it builds properly now, I'm going to assume this is fine.
