Bug Description

First Sentence: "3 dimensional Chess game for X11R6."
Tagline: "3D chess for X11"

Long description:
3 dimensional Chess game for X11R6. There are three boards, stacked vertically; 96 pieces of which most are the traditional chess pieces with just a couple of additions; 26 possible directions in which to move. The AI isn't wonderful, but provides a challenging enough game to all but the most highly skilled players.

This description is a bit nerdy. Thinking about 3D chess I would expect 3D chess pieces but the image shows 2D chess pieces. What is the 3D part.

[Suggestion] :

Short description/tagline:
Play chess across 3 boards!

Long Description:
There are three boards, stacked vertically; 96 pieces of which most are the traditional chess pieces with just a couple of additions; 26 possible directions in which to move. Provides a challenging enough game to all but the most highly skilled players.

@Onno Steenbergen:
Have you played the game? How are the moves in 3 dimensions?
Apart from not being clear about the first line , your suggestion looks good.

I have just tried it and it is the same as chess only you have 3 windows with boards on them. Some of the pieces can move to other board, some pieces can only move on the same board. Moving between boards is just dragging the piece to the other window to a correct position.

There isn't any help available in the game and this is what I figured out by playing it for a few minutes. Maybe old software should be marked as such, so that people don't expect a ubuntu look&feel/ modern functions like menus and more.

@Onno Steenbergen : Thanks for the update. Yes ,the game is a bit confusing with its "3D" tag and its confusing name.

As for the screenshot:
Anyone can upload new screenhots at : http://screenshots.debian.net/
Not that it helps this game though ;-)

  * Team upload.
  * Update package description to be more accurate (LP: #602662)
  * Use new quilt format instead of dpatch and merge inc patches
  * Bump Standards-Version, no changes needed
  * Switch to debhelper 7 minimal rules file
  * Fix path to GPLv2 in the copyright file
  * Include a doc-base file pointing at the rules
