Bug Description

Replicatorg is software used for controlling many open-source 3D printers, such as RepRap (A 3D printer who can print it´s own parts), Makerbot (More commercial 3D printer, designed by Make) and Ultimaker (The fastest open-source 3D printer made in the Netherlands). Nowadays 3D printing is not normal, but it would be great if Ubuntu would be in the future the platform for desktop 3D printing. It can use Skeinforge as routing engine.

Notes: The project offers Linux releases here:

This software needs Python and Java to be installed.

So I suppose the trick is... there's no sun java package anymore. So without that... it's an ugly bit of license conflicts and having to orchestrate the sun java installation.

Also apparently some included avrdude / other java stuff.... oof. is anyone on the ubuntu side working on this who would like some assistance? I am reaching out to the debian guys now via bug.
