Bug Description

Extensions to Python's virtualenv that makes it easier to create and switch between virtualenvironments.

License: Looks like MIT/X11
Notes: Optimally, installing the package would set up bash as well: http://www.doughellmann.com/docs/virtualenvwrapper/#shell-startup-file. It should probably depend on python-virtualenv (which could use an update, see Bug #485944).

As a part of the managing needs-packaging bug reports specification, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Specs/NeedsPackagingBugs, all needs-packaging bug reports have Wishlist importance. Had a feeling GetDeb wouldn't be interested, but you do have a programming section so I took a chance. I guess you mostly do GUI applications, though. :)

Description: extension to virtualenv for managing multiple virtual Python environments
virtualenvwrapper is a set of extensions to Ian Bicking's virtualenv tool. The extensions include wrappers for creating and deleting virtual environments and otherwise managing your development
workflow, making it easier to work on more than one project at a time without introducing conflicts in their dependencies.
