The current package requires sudo to run its utilities. I am testing a udev rule that should take of it:
Adding this line to /lib/udev/ rules.d/ 70-acl. rules should do it, at least for the [1] Olympus VN-4100PC device: =="07b4" , ATTR{idProduct} =="020d" , ENV{ACL_MANAGE}="1"
