Bug Description
Hi,
it would be great if the client worked on Debian too. Currently it's uninstallable because Debian doesn't have Python 2.6 yet.
Regards
- David

Hi David,
I'm glad you're enthusiastic about Ubuntu One!
I think it would be great if Ubuntu One works in Debian. To make that happen, Debian needs to have Python 2.6. So, the change needs to happen in Debian rather than in Ubuntu One Client.
For this reason, I'm going to set the status of this bug to "invalid" for Ubuntu One Client.
I did find this blog that describes how to make a Python 2.6 package for a Debian system. Maybe this will be useful to you:
