Tigervnc's vncpasswd correctly supports passwords longer than 8 characters, tightvnc's vncpasswd doesnt.

Hi everyone, I just noticed my package was discovered, unfortunately it failed to build. I've deleted the old one, and submitted a new one to replace it, but I warn you it's definitely an alpha quality package. Some parts are not yet integrated, as they were previously done with very outdated and unmaintable methods. I reviewed the tightvnc package for some portions, but it started becoming significant and I never completely finished.

Packaging code for Ubuntu 14.04 is available at git://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-tigervnc/pkg-tigervnc.git,branch=trusty-backports
I've tried to import this code to https://code.launchpad.net/~baltix/tigervnc/debian-packaging but import fails because launchpad.net can't import git code with submodules, even when submodules are removed :(

Changed in debian:
status: New → Fix Released
