Gamma adjust dialog slider doesn't move properly

Bug Description
If I open Lprof, select 'Monitor Profiler', press 'Enter Monitor Values' and then press 'Set Gamma and Black Point', I get a black screen with the test images and a slider to adjust the gamma level. This slider doesn't move smoothly but keeps jumping or doesn't move at all, so it's really hard to adjust the gamma level.
Using Feisty / lprof package version 1.11.4.
