should be:

The package description contains a small typo:
 The MPEG encoder can produce streams suitable for buring to VCD/SVCD
using vcdimager or similar tools.
Should be:
 The MPEG encoder can produce streams suitable for burning to VCD/SVCD
using vcdimager or similar tools.

This is fixed in deb-multimedia.org, Ubuntu 13.04 raring and higher now uses the Debian package which has a different package description.
