Bug Description
I recently tried to use dc++ while using a socks server for outgoing connections, and I noticed that this doesn't seem to be working. I have set up my putty client as a socks server, and this seems to be working quite well for my browser etc., but it doesn't seem to work at all with dc. Immediately upon trying to connect somewhere, dc++ notes 'the requested address is not valid in its context'.
Could you please look into this? I hope this is enough information. Can perform additional tests if necessary.

I can replicate this behavior with (BC)DC++ 0.797.
