Bug Description

My version is 0.706 and the thing I have not found ...

... is how to change the interval DC++ searches for alternats by itself.
I know that the option is under Queue TAB, but the interval (in seconds) isn't available.

I dont know how it is for others, but as for me - many hubs ban me for short alternate search interval - they describe it as "search flood", but I know that it is the alternate search function that makes "search flood", because I am not searching at all!
It would be great to know how to change the Alternate Search interval in seconds if it is possible at all.

If not - i'd be happy to see this function 0.707

The Search interval dosn't affect me Unless it is to long.
My problem is : It dosn't find the alternative users, I have to search manually.
It or DC also shows no users to download from, But they are there when I do manual Search.

I agree that this would be a very helpful feature. There are some hubs (apparently trying to allow an excessive number of users to connect, while running on insufficient hardware) that have high "Minimum search intervals". I connect to a few of these hubs, and if I (or the DC++ Client program) send a second search before the interval has elapsed from a first search, the hub sends a "Minimum search interval is: 430s" message to my hub chat window, and refuses to process the search.

Some of the hubs I connect to have the following minimum intervals:
430sec (7 min 10 sec, at one point this hub had an interval of over 20 mins)
120sec
90sec
60sec

If a user was able to manually set the auto-search interval, and set it equal to, or higher than, the largest minimum search interval of all the hubs they were connected to, then auto-searches would actually be processed by each hub each time, finding more results each time.

Obviously the best solution is for hub owners to balance the masimum user limit with the hardware they have, but it seems unlikely that this will happen (almost everyone wants a bigger hub without having to pay for a better hub server).

PaCo I had such a problem with older versions of DC++ and RevConnect - they didn't search for alternates by themselves. But 0.706 does !! :) In fact it does that very very good. I had some 1000 mp3 files is queue from last install of revConnect and by alternate searches my 0.706 DC++ has found more than 1/4 of these files! Great! I don't know what's wrong with your version.

Spott AGREED 100%.
