No line history without CTRL

Bug Description
Line history does not function when the "Use CTRL for line history" option is not checked. Pressing up has no effect. If I press CTRL + up while "Use CTRL for line history" is enabled, then disable it and press down, there is no effect.

in the next version, you'll be able to use Alt+key for this functionality. note that the arrow key alone has no particular effect as it's used to navigate through a multi-line message.
