Bug Description
On version 0.2.0 (linux), when performing an Export the dialog window already has the *.PNG format selected in the combobox at the bottom of the export dialog. Thus when I write the file name without any extension it gives me "unknown file type" error.
I have to go back and re-export but this time I have to include the ".png" extension in the file name for it to export.
It should already know and append the extension from the combobox.

Fixed in general, but unfortunately it doesn't work with QGtkStyle due to a Qt bug.
