Bug Description

During encoding (mp3lame audio + lavc mpeg4 video), acidrip always tells me that progress is all 0's. The output log correctly shows mencoder output, but somehow acidrip simply isn't catching it.

Correction: just first pass is all zero in a 2-pass encoding. This is extremely confusing.

Just confirming this bug since it seems to be unconfirmed.

No indication of progress on single-pass encoding, although after waiting the appropriate amount of time encoding is definately being done.

I haven't tried two-pass encoding or changing from the default codecs.

Confirmed on Dapper final. Encoding works, but Acidrip doesn't pick up mencoder's output.

Confirming this. The data from encoder appear in the debug log but nothing in "Encoding status" is updated and preview window doesn't show anything.

I'm still having this problem with Maverick. Everything is at 0 other than the "Time encoded" status.
