Bug Description

Hi,

Many modem owners are needing an old kernel to support this driver,
I have spent so much time to get my modem "bewan adsl usb st" supported on Llinux

I have adopted this package in debian, in case we can try to get it supported on current kernels but the package contains some objects compiled with some incompatible regparm flags ...

As far as I know, dapper is the only "active" distro I know which can support this driver

I have partially documented how to make it work :
http://rzr.online.fr/q/dapper.fr
(in French, but I can translated if needed)

I know this bug is a bit odd, and maybe this package doesn't worth the effort ... but I wanted to post it to see if users are still waiting after it...

Regards
