Bug Description

I installed AnyDaisy on Firefox 3.5.7 on a Macbook with OS X (10.4.11). All attempts to restart Firefox to complete the installation have crashed, even after I updated Firefox to version 3.6.

AnyDaisy does not yet work with OS X 10.4. This is a known issue that we plan to address after the initial 1.0 release. The minimum OS X supported is 10.5.

You can remove AnyDaisy by deleting the extension at /Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/(something).default/{6be5ef88-4289-44d1-81f2-097313ed640b}. You should be able to restart Firefox after that.

Thanks, John: looking forward to the fixing of the issue after 1.0
release. Actually, I found a way to uninstall AnyDaisy on this Mac,
which is slightly different from yours, and might be easier for other
superficial folks like me for whom the library is a "here be lions"
part of their hard disk they'd rather not venture into:

- start Firefox in Safe Mode, see
<http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/safe+mode>
- Tools -> Add-Ons: select and remove the problem extension.

Best

Claude
