PATCH: multi-pid support

Hi there. I needed a simple daemon template that would allow me to run TCP services for a notification application. I very badly needed to run multiple copies of
+the daemon on different ports, however. Therefore, I took Daevel and added multiple pid support.

You may not like how I did it, but I figured i'd send the changes over to you. 5 source files were altered.
